Join RoADAR Dorset
RoADAR Dorset has two types of membership: Full and Associate.
Associate members have not yet passed a RoSPA Advanced Driving or Riding test.
Full members have passed a RoSPA Advanced Driving or Riding test (or retest) within the last three years and are current members of RoSPA.
Normally, people join us as an Associate member. The joining fee is £49, which includes a copy of Roadcraft (or Motorcycle Roadcraft) and the Highway Code. Alternatively, if you have done a Bike Safe course in the recent past, a discount of £20 on the usual joining fee is available.
This fee makes you a member of the group and open to participate in our training and social events. Once you have joined, based on your availability (and ours), you will be assigned a Tutor who will help you prepare for the RoSPA Advanced Driving or Riding test.
1: To train with us, you must use a vehicle which is capable of sustaining 70mph and is road legal. You must also be road legal yourself!
2: RoADAR Dorset will keep information you provide to us on a database. It will only be used by us for the purposes/activities of the group.
3: To manage costs, we use email to communicate with our members and, when joining, you must agree (or not) that we can send you emails about upcoming events and activities.
Here’s how to join us as an Associate member.
1: Download and complete the Associate Membership Application
2: Either..
a) Photograph/scan it and email it to membership@roadardorset.co.uk and pay by Bank Giro Credit using your name as a reference, or
b) Hand it in to a group official at an event and pay them with cash.
It’s all on the form.
Any questions, please email membership@roadardorset.co.uk
If you have passed the RoSPA Advanced Driving or Riding test (or retest) within the past three years and are still a paid-up member of RoSPA, then you should join us as a Full member.
If you have let your qualification lapse (not retested) or let your RoSPA membership lapse, then I’m sorry, but we can only accept you as an Associate member.
